Curt Price joinus@curtpriceforcongress.com curtpriceforcongress.com Essay: In 300 words or fewer, describe what you would do if elected to promote a more fiscal responsible government. I am running for Congress because I am gravely concerned by what I see going on in Washington.  Spending is out of control. Congress has abdicated its responsibility to hard-working Americans, and it must stop now. I have a strong conviction for our American way of life, and I intend to fight for the freedoms we’ve worked so hard to secure for ourselves and future generations. As Ronald Reagan successfully proved, when you limit the size of government and cut spending and taxes, you pave the way for American ingenuity and entrepreneurship. Small businesses thrive and by extension, so does our economy. As a regular guy who cares deeply for our country, and I have a plan for reducing the size and spending of the federal government—the S.C.R.A.P. plan. I am committed to resoundingly voting “No” against, and rolling back any legislation that increases the Size, Cost, Reach and Power of the federal government. My campaign and my tenure as a Member of Congress shall be dedicated to this principle as well as to ensuring the American economy is driven by small businessmen and entrepreneurs, not bailouts or government handouts.
