Yes I said first.... Tea Party Victory Day! This election was a referendum on the take over of health care by the government.   As I watched the election reports coming out of Massachusetts, it became clear that people don't care about parties or politics.    They do care about the affects the health care bill and America's mounting debt will have on their and their families' lives.   The tea party movement has transcended parties and politics by making people aware of the destructive policies.   We must continue to educate Americans on these bills and their effects. Thus I am claiming this as the first Tea Party Victory Day!  The Patriots are on the march! Here is a short video on the reaction with people hearing the news of Brown's victory:

LANTANA — They were more than 1,000 miles from Massachusetts, but the South Florida Tea Party celebrated Scott Brown’s U.S. Senate victory Tuesday night as if it were home-grown. For members of the conservative group, it was a victory for all Americans, and the beginning of a return to the traditional values they believe have been absent since President Obama and the Democrats took control of Washington. About 50 Tea Party members gathered at the Lantana Ale and Sports Bar for a meeting followed by a Brown victory party. They booed at every mention of Obama’s name. Many had joined the Brown Brigade weeks ago, making phone calls and soliciting donations from South Floridians. Everett Wilkinson, chairman of the South Florida Tea Party, cheered when the race was called at 9:22 p.m., possibly sinking the Democrats’ chances at passing a health care bill. “Yes!” Wilkinson shouted. “It’s done.” “This was one of the most Democratic-leaning states,” said Mary Ellen Vitrano of Palm Beach. “I’ve never in my whole life been involved in politics like this, but I’ve never been this upset in my life.”
