Tea Party Executive Committee & Tea Party Precinct Leader

“Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.” – Sun Tzu

What is the Tea Party Executive Committee (TPEC)? It is a county level organization for tea party activists that want to be actively involved and take a leadership role in the Tea Party. The Democrats and Republicans have groups in every county throughout America that are called “executive committees”. These committees are comprised of individuals that represent “precincts”. Precincts are the smallest political division and everyone who votes has “precinct” number. The mission of TPEC is to provide a more formal structure to help the tea party achieve its goals in attracting, educating, organizing, and mobilizing our fellow citizens on a very local level. This will allow for the better implementation of strategies and tactics to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and free markets. Tea Party Precinct Leaders (TPPL) are individuals that represent their “precinct” at the county Tea Party Executive Committee. Being a Tea Party Precinct Leader requires a commitment of time and energy. A TPPL is considered to be the “Tip of the Spear” for the county tea party. Some of the responsibilities include: • Actively contacting voters in his precinct. • Attending in person or via conference call monthly Tea Party Executive Meetings. • Assist the County Coordinator(s) • Voting on key policies and positions for the Tea Party. • Setting up local meetings South Florida Tea Party will provide each Tea Party Precinct Leader: • Training on contacting voters. • Educational material to be given out. • Personal Web Page for managing precinct. • Special tools to assist leaders.
