We have been in touch with Sen. Bill Nelson's staff. His office said that they did not plan much in advance for the month because they did not know how long passing a debt-ceiling deal would take. Therefore, Nelson only has a couple of things scheduled for the rest of the month.
Nelson plans to be at the Forum Club in West Palm Beach August 25th for a noon lunch. Non-members pay $55 for the event and must reserve tickets in advance by phone.
