Tea Party Happy Shutdown Avoided - Skeptical of Cuts

(West Palm Beach)--- South Florida Tea Party (SFTP) part of a grassroots coalition of 150 plus tea party groups on Florida Tea Party Patriots and also Tea Party Patriots that has over 2700 grassroots tea party groups nationwide, is happy that the government will not be shut down, but remains skeptical of the spending cuts and actual deal.

“I am very happy the government didn't shut down,” Everett Wilkinson, Chairman of South Florida Tea Party and State Coordinator For Tea Party Patriots. “However, the tea party remains skeptical of the 'deal' and actual spending cuts. If the past record of Congress is an indicator, I suspect the 'devil' will be in the details. President Obama, Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid failed to do their jobs and it is unfair for them to hold America hostage. I find it extremely disgusting that our service members were used as pawns in DC politics."
