PRESS RELEASE: TEA PARTY DECLARES WINNERS AND LOSERS IN FOX / GOOGLE DEBATE
WEST PALM BEACH - South Florida Tea Party makes the following observations on the FoxNews/Google Presidential debate:
"The shot has been fired and the horses are out of the gates, " said Everett Wilkinson, Chairman of South Florida Tea Party. "The race is started but far over. Any candidate could potentially win or crash. The clear winner of the debate is Romney who managed to stay on message by avoiding any serious fray. Rick Perry came in a close second, but took some serious punches on illegal immigration. Ron Paul wins the award for most consistent Conservative. Michelle Bachmann was missing in action with few significant moments and many lost opportunities. Gov. Rick Santorum was the vanilla ice cream that was enjoyed by most, but not the first pick of any. Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich had solid appearances, but likely did not gain any momentum in the race. Gov. Gary Johnson gave the most memorable line of the night when he said that his neighbor's dogs created more shovel ready jobs than President Obama."
